Race course maps
Race course time limits - All 5K participants must finish the race in 75 minutes. All half-marathon participants must finish by Noon.
Directions - Trailblazer Park, 235 Trailblazer Drive, Travelers Rest.
Parking - Please utilize the parking lots located by Trailblazer Park. Overflow parking can utilize spaces along Main Street in Travelers Rest. Please do not park on the street by Trailblazer Park.
Chip timing & bibs - Please double check the info on your bib, make sure everything is correct, and notify us of any changes. Your race bib contains a small disposable chip on the back. In order for the system to read your chip, the bib must be worn on the front of your body at chest height. You should not fold your bib in any way to keep from damaging the timing chip. Also, the bib should be worn on the outside of all clothing, and it must be visible at all times. If you remove your bib or do not wear it properly, you may not receive a chip time. You must run directly over the timing mats at the start and finish lines in order to start and stop your individual time. When you cross the finish line, please keep moving through the chute to keep participants from getting backed up (you don't have to stay in the order that you finish).
Start-line procedures - We ask for your help with start line congestion and traffic flow by lining up properly at the start line. Faster runners should be up front. The Half-Marathon and 5K will start at the same time. A Kid's Fun Run will start immediately after the Half/5K start near the start/finish line.
Restrooms - Restrooms will be available at Trailblazer Park.
Results - Results will be posted online at http://georesults.racemine.com/ shortly following the race. Results will also be emailed to everyone that pre-registers. Results and photos will also be online at the TR Tribune and our facebook event page after the race. Awards for the 5K will be given out after the last 5K participant finishes (approximately 10:05 a.m.). Awards for the half-marathon will be given out as the top 5 runners finish. Raffle prizes will be announced at approximately 11:30 a.m.
Volunteers & sponsors - Would you like to volunteer?? We need help both on the race course and before and after the event. Please contact Zach Hall at the YMCA if you are interested in volunteering.
We look forward to another fun event. Please join us!
