The Spinx Marathon route is new for 2012. The Green Valley hills are gone!

The route leaves the City and goes north towards Travelers Rest on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, a rails-to-trails path that's relatively flat. Along the way, the route detours off the path and into beautiful Furman University for a few miles. Then it's out the back of Furman and north to Travelers Rest.
After reaching the downtown T.R. turnaround point, the route doubles back and goes south, back to Furman. Runners take a similar loop through Furman on the return trip. The last seven miles of the route are down the Swamp Rabbit Trail making a bee line for the finish at Fluor Field.

Policies:

Spinx Run Fest adheres to the policy that "the show must go on"... rain or shine.

The race directors may postpone the race due to extreme weather conditions (lightning).

Packet Pickup:

Packet Pick-up is at the Kroc Center, 424 Westfield Street, Greenville, 29601 from Noon to 8PM on Friday, Oct. 26.

Packets may also be picked up on race day at Greenville Drive Stadium from 6AM to 8AM.
