The Coon Dog Day 5K run is part of the grand tradition of Saluda's annual Coon Dog Day festival, which is now in its 48th proud year of existence. Join in the festivities with this fun and challenging run through historic downtown Saluda and the surrounding tree-lined streets we all know and love. Jump start your morning with the 5K and spend the rest of the day enjoying the local food and craft vendors, live entertainment, hometown parade, and live coon hound events downtown!
 
Race Day Registration begins at 6:30 AM - no registrations will be accepted after 7:30 AM

Cost: $25 per registration by June 1st and $30 per registration after June 1st. Registration includes all day event parking, Coon Dog Day 5K performance tee, race day goodie bag, and shuttle trolley ride to downtown following the race.
 
Awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the following age categories for both male and female participants: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, and 75 & over.
 

Policies:
No refunds will be given for this event.

Packet Pickup:
Race packets will available for pickup at The Party Place and Event Center on Friday, July 6th from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Any packets not picked up will be available the morning of the race from 6:30 until 7:30 AM at the registration table.
